Children’s Literacy Foundation

With a contribution from the Children’s Fund, the Children’s Literacy Foundation (CLiF) will donate more than a hundred new, hardcover children’s books to the Libbie A. Cass Memorial Library in nearby Springfield, NH (pop. 1,000). Librarian Steve Klein will select titles to fill specific gaps in his collection and receive the equivalent of more than one year’s worth of new books for his library. Later this fall, a CLiF presenter will deliver the new books to Springfield, perform an inspiring storytelling presentation for all local children, sign up any children who need library cards, and check out the new books on the spot!
