WISE of the Upper Valley

WISE leads the Upper Valley to end gender-based violence through survivor-centered advocacy, prevention, education and mobilization for social change.

Grants Awarded: 

2016 - $12,500, to help provide frequent and consistent educational sessions regarding healthy relationships in all nine Upper Valley school districts, including elementary, middle and high schools. This education helps prevent domestic violence and sexual assault. 

WISE leads the Upper Valley to end gender-based violence through survivor-centered advocacy, prevention, education and mobilization for social change.

2015 - $15,000 to support expanded programming regarding healthy relationships at every developmental stage in seven local school districts. 

2014 - $12,500 for WISE: Youth Violence Prevention Program.

This program includes trainings for child-care, education and youth-serving professionals; research-based and tailored class-room programs for the seven middle and high schools in the Upper Valley; site-based educational and supportive youth groups; and local, state and national updates on violence prevention.

2013 - $5,000 to continue their Education and Prevention programs in local middle and high schools

2012 - $5,000 to support their Education and Prevention programs in local schools, including (but not limited to) the Lebanon Jr High and High Schools.

2008 - Support for a website redesign project, to enhance the accessibility and awareness of WISE services throughout the region.
